A Petrified Rabbit.

A short while ago wc happened to sec a queer thing in the shape of a petrified rabbit. He hud run into uhole to escape, probably from pursuit, and becoming wedged in had to remain. Some property in the soil hud changed him inte solid stoue, but left every hair unruffied and uatural as to color. He seemed so natural we could scarcely resist the temptation to shy a stone at him, or to whoop up the dogs and have a chase.--Ceawforavtlle poo.) Democrat.
