The English Edition cost $200,00 per set, and the American Edition $125,00 per set in the cheapest binding. These prices have almost compelled people to purchase the cheaper and poorer Encyclopaedias. The Louisville, New Albany & Chicago has just turned out a new style of postal oar which greatly increases the facilities for handling mail matter quickly. The superintendent of mail service is also well pleased with the new car. Chas. F. Wren, formerly agent at this station, has been appointed station agent of the Southern Pacific, at Merced, California. Rev. M. L. Tressler occupied the Presbyterian pulpit last Sunday night.
