THE NEXT CONGRESS.

The Result of the Recent Elections Shown at a Glance. [From the Chicago Tribune.] The latest returns indicate that the Democrats, including the Farmers’ Alliance men, will have 238 members in tho next House, while the Republicans will have but 93. This will give the Democrats a majority of 145, and even if some of tho Alliance men should vote with tho Republicans the Democrats would still have nearly, if not quite, a two-thirds majority. Tho Democratic majority Is 145. There are 121 votes from the South. Hence it appears-that without a vote from tho South the Democrats would still have a majority of 24.
