WHEN VOTERS MUST REGISTER,* Under the new law a voter must register at the county clerk’s office threi months before the election: 1. If, havingjbeen a resident of Indiana, he has nbsented himself from the state for six months or more. 2. If, having been a resident Of Indiana, he has voted in another state. 8. If, having been a resident of Indiana, he ha gone into another state with the intention of voting there. 4. If he has not been a Jjona fide resident of the county m which he resides for at I oast six months bo., fore the election. (This latter provision i? one of great importance, as heretofore the law only required a residence of 6 months n the state, GO days in the township and 3o days in the precinct.) Persons woo have registered should taka their certificate of registration to the pods with them, as they cannot vote if challenged without producing it.
