FASHIONABLE SOCIETY. The trying ordeals which fashionable society imposes on its devotees are enough to severely test the physical strength and endurance of the most robust. Irregular ani late hours, over-i ich and indigestible food, late suppers, the fatigue of the ball-room, the bad air of the illy-ve-itilatod, overcrowded theatre, are each, in themselves, sufficient to upset the system and ruin the health of the delicate and sensitive.
