A treasury draft for $293, as part of the prize money of sloo,ooft offered by the government for the capture of Jeff Davis, has been approved by First Comptroller Asa Matthews. It was drawn in favor of Horace Levernier, of Chicago, who served in company B, First Wisconsin volunteers, and participated in the capture. He but recently made application for his share. There are several more entitled to shares who have applied.
