It is probable, to sav the least, that fully 90 per cent, of the whole body of the people spend nearly all that they can earn; of this 90 per cent, a | or; ion may be setting aside a moderate part of theii’ small earnings, become the owners of a house, or become depositors in a savings bank, or insure their lives in a moderate way.
