ILL-FATED PROSPECTORS.
The Bones of Two White Men Found Bleaching on the Blackfoot Hills. A party of prospectors, headed by McDonald, the half-breed, who had induced the Flathead Indians to divulge their longkept secret as to the location of some remarkably rich mines in the Blackfoot country, in Montana, while clambering over the steep mountain sides were horrified to find the skeletons of two white men. One had a bullct-holo through his forehead, and both had evidently been killed by hostile Indians. Beside the skeletons lay a small pile of quartz. Evidently the men were the first prospectors and pioneers of the Blackfoot Hills, and for years had lain on the bare, bleak mountain side.
