A Few Notions.

A drug man is not one who isdrugged. He is the fellow who drugA other people. A hotel man is not full of hotels. Hois full of hash. A newspaper man is not made of; newspapers. He is made of wind. A saloon keeper does not keep a saloon. The saloon keeps him. A hardware man won’t wear any longer; than other men. The shoemaker will! outlast him. An agriculturist does not cultivate* the ague now. It used to be his chief occupation, however. A lawyer isn’t a man who laws. It’shis fool client who does that. The counterfeiter is not a man who fits a counter. A carpenter does that.! So does a dude, sometimes. A doctor* isn’t a man who “docks. ” He always presents the whole bill. A dry goods man is not one made of dry goods. He is made by adyertlspg.
