Chloroform and cocaine have been used together in twenty-four surgical operations by Prof. Ol>.i lin ski, of Cracow. Most satisfactory results are reported, the advantages claimed being: A smaller quantity of chloroform is sufficient; vomit ng is very rare; and th y depression on awaking is much slighter than when chloroform alone is xised. —Arkansaiv Traveler.
