In the 85th year of his age, Dr. James Ritchey departed this life at his home, a few miles southwest of Rensselaer, on Tuesday morning last. He was held in high esteem by his fellow citizens, and his death is universally regreted.
E. T. Harding, for many years a resident of Kensselaer, after a protracted iDness, died at his home in this place on Saturday last, in the 65th year of his age. Father Humes reached the 82d mile-stone on his life-journey last Friday. We wish him continued life, health and prosperity. Lee E. Glazebrook addressed a Democratic meeting at Union school house, Jordan township, last Friday evening. A campaign club was organized before the meeting adjourned.
