THE NATIONAL CAPITAL.

It is about definitely determined, says a Washington dispatch, that the President.will leave that city the last week in September and go directly to St Louis, probably by the way of Indianapolis. He will spend two days at St Louis, and go from there to Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, St Paul, Minneapolis, Omaha, Kansas City, Memphis, Nashville, and Atlanta, reaching the latter place in time to meet his engagement for Oct 18. He will go by the ordinary lines of travel between the places named, and, as his fixed appointments will preclude any divergence from the route to visit other cities, all invitations outside of it will have to bo declined.
