Our old friend Wm. Reynolds, of Wichita, Kansas, made us a call the other day. Mr. R. and family were visiting his brother, John G., of Rensselaer. Crockett, son of Thomas, while on his way to F. W. Baptist church, last Sunday evening, his mare stumbled, [near the jail, and almost uncoupled her back. Clemens and Elias Brocus, at Fair Oaks, Tuesday evening last Clemens was badly cut on the head,* left arm and shoulder. Wednesday morning Drs. Bitters and Yic. ELougbridge dressed the wounds.
