A Child’s Idea.
“Mamma, ” -said a little girl whose name was Gertrude Matilda, “I hope when the Lord wants me He’ll call me by my pretty name.” Her mother remarked that the name would not make any difference to the Lord. “No,” was the reply, “I s’pose not, and whichever name it is I s’pose I’ll have to answer.”— Detroit Free Press.
