Children's Day at the Baptist Church.

Children’s Day was observed by the scholars of the Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday evening. Owing to the damp and stormy weather, neither the audience nor the collection were as large as usual. The evening was devoied to songs, recitations and scripture readings. Bro. C. C. French, of Brookston, was present and sang one of his popular solos. The children acquitted themselves to the entire satisfaction of the very appreciative audience. The collection amounted to $3.60. Mamie C. Spitler, Sec’y. Drs.
