A New Church.

At last it is our pleasure to announce that a movement for building a new M. E. church in Kensselaer has been inaugurated, with very gratifying prospects of success. A meeting of the leading members of the church was held Monday evening to consider the matter, and it was unanimously decided to build during the present season. The building is to be a spacious and well finished frame structure; and to be located some place on Cullen street, between Harrison and Susan streets. The cost is to be about four thousand dollars. The considerations which led to the choosing of a wooden building instead of a brick was mainly, that a tasteful and well finished and furnished frame building would be more desirable than a cheap brick building.
