Ajppe Custard. —A nice apple atub tard is made of one pint of apple sauce, one pint of sweet milk, and three eggs. Flavor and sweeten to taste. To be baked with an under crust. Oatmeal Muffins. One cup oatmeal, one and a half pints flour, one teaspoon of salt, two of baking-powder, one pint of milk, one table-spoon of lard, two eggs. Mix smoothly into a tatter rather thinner than for cup cakes. Fill the muffin rings two-thirda full and bake in a hot oven.
