Florence and family, of Kansas, are visiting his parents in Rensselaer. Ralph Fendig has just returned from a purchasing trip to Chicago. In a few days he will oDen out an extensive and entirely new stock of dry goods, notions, etc., to which he invites the attention of his friends. > They will be sold cheap for cash.
Frank Minikus was up before Justice Purcupile Thursday night charged wish assault and battery on Noah Rolston. Plead gui'ty and was fined one dollar and costs

Call and see. Mr. Heury Mackey, Bensselaer marble worker, has the contract for the erection of a handsome monument to the memory of the late Daniel Dwiggins. Bay of Fundy granite is to be used. For engaging in a little fracas Thursday night of last week, Justice Purcupile fined W. L. Nowels and Jas. Branton each one dollar and costs. The Town Board has 'placed a veto on the running at large of the goats. Mrs. Al. Keester, in Jordon township, last Sunday morning attempted suicide. Prompt ana proper treatment by Dr. Deming prevented fatal result.
