Corrigan’s interest in the Corrigan Consolidated Street Railway Company, at Kansas City, was sold for $8130,000 to a Boston syndicate.
The remarkably successful engagement of the A. M. Palmer Dramatic Company has reached its fourth week at McVicker’s Theater, Chicago, and popular interest in its artistic work continues to grow. During the four weeks to come this splendid company will produce several novelties, among those Sir Charles Young’s very interesting and ingenious play, “Jim, the Penman.” This play is now running in London, with Lady Monekton in the principal part, and so great is its success there that it is expected to complete a whole year’s run.
