The Tax Levy for 1886. The following table shows the rate of taxation, in the different townships of this county, for the various funds for which taxes are levied, for the year 1886, for each hundred dollars assessed valuation of property; as arranged by the respective Trustees of the different townships, and approved and adopted by the County Commissioners. The county revenue tax is 75 cents on the hundred and the county jail tax is 10£ cents. The State tax is 12 cents on the hundred, the State School 16 cents, the State House 2 cents and the State Endowment £ cent.
