WALKER ITEMS.
Weather cold and dry. Health is generally good. Lewis Sigler is back again. Mosquitoes till you can’t rest. Jack Kerns is working for F. M. Hershman. G o. nershman left for Delphi last week. Miss Jennie Hershman has gone to Francesville on a visit. Mrs. Warren Brey, of Keener, was home on a visit last Sunday Jake Wenrick claims to have sold over five hundred < isli pans. Fred Chilcote, of Rensselaer, was up visiting friends last week. The most of the farmers have got through with their planting. Meeting at the Center school house, Sunday, June 13tli. All are invited to come and bring their baskets. F. M. Hershman, our road sup’t, bought a sls Bible the other day. Wonder if he is going to read a chapter every morning before he goes to work on the roads. James Morse is greatly improving his place by putting in tile and clearing off the brush. It would be better for the country if the rest of the farmers would do likeFrank Nicholas had a narrow escape while on his way home from a dance. His horse stumbled and fell on him. He was gnly hurt for the time being.
