A Reasonable Request.
Bill Simpson is an engineer on the I. &G. N. Railroad. He was off duty at Austin a few days ago. He met Judge Peterby, with whom he was acquainted. “I say, Judge, I wish you would do me a favor. “I’ll do it.” “It will be appreciated by all the engineers on the I & G. N. Railroad.” “What can I do for you all ?” “Please don’t hang around the depot when the trains are coming in.
