Sentinel: I wish, through your columns, to express my thanks to the many kind friends who assisted and sympathised with myself and family in our recent bereavement, and especially do we express our lasting gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. A. Leopold, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Powell, Mrs. C, Platt, Mrs. Meyer, Mrs. Dr. Alter, and Mr . Bayler. J. M. Hodshire. The death of Mrs. Jas. M. Hodsliire, Sunday evening, was an unexpected and sad bereavement— The entire community sympathize with Mr. H. and family in their affliction.

Mrs. Norman Warner, on Thursday of last week, her 50th anniveiv sary, was greeted with a surprise party, and presented a handsome gold watch and chain by her husband and children. Abe, son of Eev. Geo. Havens, is visiting his father and friends in Bensselaer.
