Mr. Henry Mackey, proprietor of the Rensselaer Marble Works, lias just concluded a contract for the erection of a handsome monument over the grave of Alfred Hoover. Quite a number of tombstones, monuments, etc, products of his workmanship, adorn the grounds of our beautiful cemetery.

Gen. J. C. Yanßenselaer is paying his customary visit to Rensselaer.
