Coen.— Died Saturday morning, Dec., 12, 1885 *' as born in Lancaster county, Penu., December 16, 1836, and died in Jasper county, Inch, Dec., 12,1885 at tlm age of 48 yearr 11 mounths and 27 days. Her maiden name was Hosier. Her parents removd from Pennsylvania when she was about three years old, and settled in Fountain county, Indiana. She was married to William S. Coen, March 15, 1854, "and they removes to Jasper county in November, 1866. To this union have been born ten c hildren— six sons and four daughters —nine of whom survive her. She united with the Presbyterian church at liobroy Fountain county, Ind., at about the age of fifteen.
Dr. J. H. Loughridge, Hon. E. P. Hammond, Hon. Geo. Major, and E. C. No wels, have been appointed as committee for Jasper County in the interest of t e Hendricks Monument. We understand sub-committees for the several town.Jiips will soon be named. Let Jasper County do her duty in this matter.
