A grest treat is in store for the citizens of Bensselaer in the appearance of Mr. P. F. French in his great melo-drama, ‘'Montezuma.” Th 9 play is Mr. French’s own writing, and ore of the strongest ever panion story to Monte Cristo. Tiie part played by the star is that of a young Lieutenant who through a conspiracy is thrown into, tke dungeons under the sea in the Castle El Moro to make him divulge certain secrets. After fifteen years he makes his escape and is rescued by his old devoted slave. After which he gees to the Isle of Montezuma and secures the treasures hidden there, disguises himself and assumes the title of Count of Montezuma. He then begins his work of revenge, all of which is admirably brought about until he has conquered the last one. The play is beautifully written, the plot admirably interwoven, giving a great chance for fine acting, startling incid°nts and beautiful stage effects and scenes. , The supporting company is one of the strongest out this season, ably headed by Mr. French and wife, and Miss Eva Earle. Owing to the length of programme and complication of scenery the performance will begin at 7:45.

The wedding was a very quiet affair and the newly wedded pairjtook the evening train for Chicago. May their married life always grow brighter and brighter.
