Charlie Wre is on the sick list, and Mr. McKay is filling his place for the time being at the station. The ladies of the Presbyterian church will give a “Japanese Tea” Entertainment on the even : ng of December 24th. The Third Session of the Hanging Grove Teachers’ Institute will be held on the Third Saturday of December, at the Banta School House. We understand the Rensselaer Teachers will attend the meeting of the State Teachers’ Association, at Indianapolis, during the holidays. Ex-Sheriff John W. Powell has leased the Halloran Livery and Feed Stables, and respectfully solicits a liberal share of the public patroaags.
