Eye Doctors of India.

The itinerant eye-doctor of India performs his operations with a confidential celerity which the more civilized oculist would call recklessness. As he enters a town he bawls: “Do you want back your sight?—one rupee only.” When a customer appears lie takes out his penknife and performs the operation while standing in the open square. Then he binds up the wound, tells his patient to keep in the dark for a fortnight, and pockets his rupee. And this proceeding, it is. said, is almost always successful. No opiates or poison. Only twenty-five cents. Red Star Cough Cure.
