It may be that the people of Nev> Mexico, who regard Dorsey as a great man, cannot understand the President’s action. But the great majority of the people of this country will agree with the President that any man who will appoint Stephen W. Dorsey to a position of trust is not fit to sit on the bench.— New York Star.
