Weather rather dry. . Harvesting the general order of the d n y. N. D. Ingram made his relatives in Round Grove a shori visit last week. The patrons of the Wheatfield Post Office have petitioned for a new Post Master. John Gi ay and Call. McConnhay made a fling trip to Chicago yesterday. Winnifred Booth, Lena Booth, Andros Crawford, Milroy Sexton and G. M. Ingram of Wheatfield Township contemplate attending the Normal at Rensselaer. Wm. Keen, Albert Keen, Miss Lille Keen and their friend Minnie Farmer of Jordan Township made their relatives and friends of this place a very pleasant visit last week.

D. W. Shields is attending the Valparaiso Normal. It is said that Clint, D. Stackhouse has the best field of wheat in Jasper county. The cereal is of the Tasmania variety. Eddie, son of Jas. F. Randle, of this place, was severely hurt Saturday, by a horse dashing against him.
