A Saloon Monopoly.

[Milwaulwe telegram. ] A movement to monopolize the saloon Interest of this cityls being quietly worked by the brewers here The plan is to get fiossession of all the desirable sites for saoons in the city, and then run the business themselves. During the year past the three largest brewing firms in the civy have quietly bought 290 corner sites for which over $350,009 has been paid. Other brewers have been engaged in the same work. Henry W. Williams, President of tho Massaohnsetts Bicycle Club, is called the most accomplished road-riding wheelman in the country. He has ridden 13,500 miles, 7,500 es which were done without a fall.
