The “Kid” says that “the thugs and bummer carried the election in Chicago Tuesday.” The venerable Judge Cations telegraphed congratulations to Carter Harrison on the success of the “kid’s” ‘‘thugs and bummers.” Mrs. M. E. Spitler, Grand Matron, Mrs. Lydia A. Moss, Mrs. F. B. Meyer, Mrs. Nellie Learning, and Messers, M. L. Spitler, J. W. Powell and Thos. J. Farden, are in attendance upon the Grand Chapter, O. E. S.„ at Indianapolis the present week. Ezra Wright, at Richview, 111., March 28th 1885.
