Rejoicing in London.
[London cablegram.] The first news of the shooting of Itossa was bulletined in this city at midnight. It caused the wildest excitement among the people on the streets and around the popular resorts at that hour. Men gathered in groups at comers to exchange comments upon the affair, and the general impression Was that of satisfaction. Persons who had learned of the shooting stopped even those who were strangers to them to ask if they had heard the news. There were frequent hand-shakings of congratulation, and even hurrahs, and men rushed io the bars in the hotels jjhouting out the good news and landing as a heroine the assailant of the muchdespised djnamlter.
