And he added that if the Legislature did not think a b> nd of 130.000 was ample, he was wiling to give one for $50,000 or for $5t»0,000, at twenty, four hours notfee. The Senator from St. J®« said he was satisfied that the presant bond was large enough, and good encugh. and that the books showed a satisfactory management of the finances. Clerk Cowdin was comphmeuteil by members of the committee on his book* keeping. The Ho© Henry Mannlug of Fort Wayne, one\of the directors, was present, and aided the committee materially In their investigation. Mr. Greorge Major, one of the oth*r dir cloro, was unfortunately absent by reason of sickness.
