F. W. Baptist Church Notes.
The revival meetings at the F. W Baptist church closed on last Suuday evening. The meeting had been a long ono and closed with a good int ercst, which wo hope may cont nue. n Sunday last there was a large congregation assemoled.and listened tc a sermon by the pastor, to the converts. At the close of the service, at the bourse, a large number of pro pie proceeded to the river, east of town, where Rev. M. C. Miner administered the rite of baptism to seven of the converts. At the evening ser vice ten received the hand of fellowship. The m e*iug tin provul blessiug to ths church, an 1 seventeen new members have bemadded there to. A weekly prayer meeting will be held on Tuesday evening of each week, und all are invited to attend. The regular will continue on the 2d and 4th Sundays < t each month, and Covenant meeting on each Saturday before the 4th Sun day. at 2:30 p. »i. VII the member are especially invited 10 be present at the next Covenant meeting. The pastor of the church is preparing to move tne Ist of March, consequently the next se.vices will oloss his pastorate in Rensselaer. Mr. Henry Mackey has purchased the Rensselaer Marble Works chang of?'*d” next week.
