A Modest Competence
In tlje way of health is more commonly our share than an exuberance of that desirable article. Let it be our aim to keep what we have got, not to waste the blessed endowment by imprudent living and working. It may be safely predicated es Methuselah that he was not a dyspeptic. The rapid rate at which this modern generation lives, prematurely exhausts the physical energies of many. A safe means of their renewal may be found in Hostel ter s Stomach Bisters, a genuine auxiliary of digestion and secretion, and a prime sourew of vigor. When a notice to quit is served with it on the tioublesoma tenant, dyat-epßia, he speedily evacuates th-) premises, and it is no less potent in bringing a rebellions liver into subjection. Constipation yields to it, and rheumatism cannot successfully oppose its depurating action. It is a tine regulator of the kidneys and bladder, and tranquilizes and tones the nerves. It lays a foundation of health upon which prudence may raise a lasting superstructure. Lastly, though not least, it is commended by the medical fraternity. Courage is the strength that enables us to eombat evil; fortitude is the armor that resists evil after the oombat is decided against us .—Newman Independent.
