Chicago Inter Ocean of Monday: “The Louisville, New Albary & Chicago railway (Monon Line) will to day put a new passenger train between Lafayette and Chicago to accommodate the increasing local traffic, and at the same time afford the Chicago and Great Southern Railway a passenger en ranee into Chicago. The tialn w.ll leave Lafayette.daily at 6:80 a. m , connect at Fair Oaks with the Chicago and Great Southern irom Yeddo, Yeedersburg, Attica’ Oxford and other points in Western Indiana, and arrive in Chicago at 11 : 15 a. m. Returning the train will leave at 4:10 p. m., making the same direct connections at Fair Oaks and also with the Giand Rapids and In dianapolis express on the Air Line Division for Delphi, Frankfort, and other points. The train will be espe eially acceptable to the crowds who daily visit Cedar Lake, and will de light the sportsmen whose club houses dot the Kankakee shores near Thayer and Lowell.” A letter from Hon. Geo. H. Brown announces a pleasant journey and safe arrival of himself and wife at O r oville, California, at six o’olock en Tuesday evening, April 29 L h.
