In Montgomery county, Pa., Thomas Wicherly and Leonard Hoyle fought with hare flute for over an hour, for 8600, the former being the winner. The farm-house of Michael Ulrich, near Harrisburg, Pa., proves to be a veritable bonanza, not less than 815,000 in coin and notes having been found secreted in various places within two months. A machine has been invented at Pittsburgh for manufacturing hob-nails, which has a capacity of one ton a day, and is ope* ratogby three men.
