Mrs, Aseuath Todd died at the rest Idence of her son, J. M. Hodshire, iu this place, on Tuesday morning at thre© o’clock. The cause of death was Pneumonia of both lungs, and paralysis,superinduced by palpitation of the heart. She had oeen sick for about three week 3. Until within less than 24 hours of her death, she had seemed well on the way to recovery. Mrs. Todd had livsd in Renssei ter but a few weeks, having come here from North Vernon, She was born In A; ril, 1804, and consequently lacked but a few months of being 80 years. She camo to Dears b'rn couotv in 1818, and has been a resident of the state ever since. She has been a member of the M. E. church for sixty years. The funera was held at the residence,JWeduesday at 10 o’clock, and was conducted by the Rev T G Webster, pastor of the M E church.
