Guild .has resigned the office of Township Trustee, and pi opposes to make Gillam his future home. Mr. G. has made one of the very best Tpwnship officers, He was first appointed by Auditor Nowels, and afterwards elected. Mr. Nowels has appointed Mr. Joseph Fairchild to fill the unexpired term. Mr. Fairchild is the right man for the place, being careful and safe; but as in the appointment of Mr, (TuiU, there are those who have words of censure for Mr. Nowels for m iking the apsoiritment. Mr. N. however, no doubt considered the best interests of the township in making it.
