What Caught Him.

“Hold on a minute!” called a man at postoffice to another who was hurrying off yesterday. “Can’t do it—great hurry—see you later,” was the reply. “I say, hold on!” “Can’t possibly do it—got to be at the bank in three minutes.” “Say!” “Can’t do it—so long!” “See here,” persisted the man, “I want you to step into the alley here and see a horse I’m going to buy. I want your opinion of him. ” “Oh, that’s it! Well, I don’t mind if I do, ” and he cheerfully wasted threequarters of an hour in sizing up a S3O horse.
