THE WORK DONE.

Some of the Bills Passed by Both Houses of Congress at the Second Session. The total number of bills and joint resolutions introduced in both houses during the sessions of the Forty-seventh Congress aggregated 10,650, of which 650 passed both houses. Fifteen hundred bills remain upon the House calendar, of which 225 passed the Senate.
