The performance of "Red Riding: Hood” at the Opera House, Saturday evening, gave very general satisfaction. Mike Halloran filed an affidavit be fore Esq. Wood, on last Saturday charging Harry Wiltshire with the crime of reciving stolen goods. The goods alleg.d to have been received by Wiltshire were four bank notes Of the value of tea dollars each, and which the affidavit alleges were stop er from the affiant bv John Halloran, who is a son of Michael Halloran.— A warrant was issued for tht arrest Wiltshire and placed in the hand o f Sheriff Powell who arrested and lodged him in the new jail, he being the first occupant. On Monday he had n preliminary examination before Esq' Wood, who bound him over to await 1 the action of the grand jury la the I sum of three hundred dollars, in de~ 1 fault of which he was re-committed to jail, where he now languishes. County Treasurer. Alter has gone to Indianapolis to make hi* settle- : ment with the Treasurer of State. Mrs. M.
