Have been received by proprietor of the White Wine of Tar Syrup, from parties claiming to be cured of consumption by its use. A young fellow asked another at a ball if liis girl was there. “Yes,” said he. ‘‘Do yoa see that girl dressed in pink?” “What, that splendid woman with such magnificent eyes? You don’t say.
