A Frenchman’s Notion of It.
A French gentleman recently from Paris was invited by one of our popular citizens to indulge in the ‘ * American custom ” at the Exchange, Richmond. Not knowing our “colloquial American’' well enough to call for a mixed drink, it was suggested that he take a “ brandy punch,” which he did.
