Stones were thrown into the upstairs windows of a house in this place one night this week, by persons unknown. This much we can state with reference to the arrangements : The bell will ring, and the people are expected to assemble at the Court House, at 1 o’clock p. m. The ofli* cers in charge will carry out the programme agreed upon. Addresses will be given by F. W. Babcock, Esq., and Dr. I. B. Washburn, and may be others, this place, June 24th next. The 17th June has been suggested for the Township Conventions.
