Strange Suicides.

Specimen report of a New Mexico Sheriff to the Governor: “ I have the honor to inform you that we traced two of the cowboys to the house of a third one. On breaking open an inner door of one of the rooms we found these men lashed together very tightly and hanging to the beam overhead by $ rope with the noose around their necks—nearly cold in death. I notified the Coroner, a jury was summoned and an inquest held. The jury returned a verdict, * Death by suicide.’ ”
