A good many of our people have watched with interest the church trial of the Rev. H. O. Hoffman, for bastardy at Bloomington TH., Hoffman was pastor of the M. E. church in Rensselaer several years ago, and we understand charges of similar character wore made against him here. The jury which sat on his cash at Bloomington, returned a verdict of guilty.
