We invite the attention of the Marshal to some of the alleys in tow D—- . and there an individual is seized with the queer notion that they are laid out for his exclusive use. and so obstructs them with wagons, wagon beds, sleds, manure heaps, etc., that others are precluded the use of them as a passage way. Now. before these miniature mountains of manure heaps aie frozen, is a very proper time for the Marshal to have such nuisances removed.

Michael Dunn, recently married to Miss Mary Weathers; of this place aa old employe on the Air Line, was badly injured, Saturday last, at Monticello. He was engaged in moving some cars when he foil, A'&ir coming behind passing over him, rendering necessary amputation of the right leg above the knee. The left foot was badly cut near the toes, and the lips of three fingers on bis left hand.taken off.
The Gipsy Concert will be given at the Opera House, Friday evening, Deoember 9th, 1881. It will be a Gipsy Concert in style of costume and music. Two musical graduates from the Onarga Conservatory of Music are to assist - one a very fine Contralto singer, and the other an accomplished Pianist There will be a Gipsy King, Queen, Fortune-teller, Flower girl, and other luteresting re presentations. This Concert promises to be very pleasing and interesting in both scenery and song. The music will undoubtedly be the best ever given here. a 9 the best musicians of the place are interested in it, and great care has been taken to select suitable music.
