One of Those “Mash" Letters.

When- Horaqo Weston, the coloied banjo player of the Plantation troupe, was traveling in Europe with the Jarrett & Palmer Uncle Tom Combination, he received a large mail daily. One day he was shoving his letters to Mr. Jarrett, who was-reading them to him, as he had never learned to read. Suddenly Mr. Jarrett was overcome with emotion. “ Where did you get that letter ? ” he asked, holding out one with the royal insignia printed on the corner, and signed by a court official. “ Dat one ?
